EK Games is an independent game studio based in Exeter, UK and founded in 2025 by four long-time friends united by a shared passion for creating unforgettable gameplay experiences.
Built on Unreal Engine 5, our studio is currently developing a brand-new original IP, focused on delivering intense, competitive fun.
The team blends years of hands-on Unreal Engine experience, professional industry knowledge, creative writing, and expressive art and animation. Each member brings a distinct voice to the studio, allowing us to craft games that feel both technically polished and creatively bold.
Our mission is clear: to create games that are exciting to play, rewarding to master, and worth talking about.

Creative Director & Lead Designer
An ex-industry professional whos previous credits include 5v5 MOBA Fractured Space for Edgecase Games and Wargaming, and released numerous games under his personal studio TBD Games.
Matthew Ernest
Art Director & Lead Artist
A talented, passionate artist and animator responsible for the visual identity and motion of our projects. Specializes in character art, animation, and expressive visuals that bring gameplay to life.
Andrew Adam
Game Director & Lead Narrative Designer
A writer and narrative designer focused on creating strong worlds, characters, and thematic identity. Brings structure and personality to our projects through storytelling, lore development, and narrative direction.
Craig Grieve
CFO & Head of Studio Operations
An experienced developer and talented entrepreneur who specialises in management and production. Provides a driving force in development and QA alongside studio direction.
